Most of our bachelor-level candidates start out in one of Youth Villages' residential programs in Atlanta, Linden, Memphis, or Nashville. Master's-level opportunities are available at all of our locations, but the experience requirements vary. What we look for: BA/MA degree in a social services field Experience working with at-risk youth Experience working with kids Leadership experience High level of professionalism Desire to help children and families succeed Our recruiting team will guide you through the process and find the best position for you based on your experience and interests. Hiring Process for University Students Step 1 Complete the online application in its entirety. Your application status will appear as Not Reviewed. Please note: we cannot review resumes via email. Step 2 Once your application is complete, a recruiter will review your application and contact you by phone or email to schedule a time to speak about the positions for which you are qualified. Interviews take place by phone or on campus. Your application atatus will say Being Reviewed. Step 3 During the interview, you and the recruiter will discuss positions that match your qualifications and locations of interest. Your application status will say Pending Prescreen/Prescreen Interview. Step 4 If we decide to move forward with your interview process, you will be notified by e-mail regarding next steps. Often, this involves an invitation to an Open House/Interview Day. Your application status will say Sent to Program or Invited to Open House (if you are proceding to the next step). If you are not selected to procede, you will be notified via email and the corresponding application status will be assigned. Step 5 If the hiring manager is interested in conducting a 1st interview, you will be contacted by phone or email. There are typically two interviews in the process following your conversation/interview with the recruiter. If you are not selected, you can reapply after 90 days or contact the recruiter to determine your eligbility to be considered for other opportunities. Every candidate will receive a final outcome. We encourage candidates to check their spam/junk mail for correspondence from Youth Villages. |
